Application Substrates
Mirrorfast Acrylic Clear can be applied over sanded original finishes .

Surface preparation
Degrease with Quick wipe degreaser.
Dry sand with p320-p400 grade paper.
Wet sand with p 800-p 1000 grade paper.
Degrease with Quick wipe degreaser, as tech. info.
Mixing Instructions
Mirror fast clear is supplied Ready for use But in cold conditions and low temperature, and your Spraygun setup will depend on the us of thinner, a greater amount of thinner will enhance the sprayability ,flow and polishability.
Use Mirrorfast thinner.

Application process
Spray single coats . Flash off times will vary depending on temperature, the type of thinners used and conditions of application, please allow each coat to become touch dry before applying the following coat 3-4 coats will give protection but further coats can be used.
Blending and fading out techniques:
Fade-outs are extremely easy with Mirrorfast ,Reduce pressure to (5-7psi), dissolve by fading pure RA Blending thinner over area to be Blended.
Fluorescent colours/ candy colours
The system comprises of 2 basecoats and clear finish.
First apply 3 full coats of Mirrorfast groundcoat brilliant white with full flash-off time between coats.
After 15 mins flash-off time apply 3 full coats Fluorescent basecoat, or until correct opacity is achieved.
After 30 mins flash-off times 3 coats of ready for use Mirrorfast clear can be applied.
For extra durability 2 coats of mirror crystal clear two pack acrylic lacquer can be applied, especially if petrol resistance is required i.e.: motor bike petrol tanks.
Candy apple
Candy apple toner is a translucent clear that shows metallic groundcoat through ,desired effect is achieved by to use of coat or multiply coat
Apply Mirrorbase groundcoat 3 coats /after 30 mins flash off apply candy apple toner to achieve correct opacity and desired colour 1 or 2 coats is normally sufficient, but density is achieved if further coats are applied.
After 30 mins flash-off times 3 coats of ready for use Mirrorfast clear can be applied.
For extra durability 2 coats of mirror crystal clear two pack acrylic lacquer can be applied, especially if petrol resistance is required i.e.: motor bike petrol tanks.
Drying
Dust free 5 mins
Tack free 15 mins
Touch dry 30 mins

Polishing
Areas may have a light flat with P 1200 Wet or Dry and polished when dry.
Storage
12 months for unopened cans.
Ambient temperature for application is above 10°c low humidity /dry conditions.
